Alison and Ro have worked with a team of researchers, community partners and businesses delivering the DesHCA project, which formulated home designs to support healthy cognitive ageing that reflect older peoples preferences, and are practical and scalable from an industry point of view. They described the project and reflected on some of the challenges of using co-production methods. They also showcased the design principles and features that the project has generated. These included resources which assist Occupational Therapists and others who strive to ensure that socially- and privately-owned dwellings support people to remain home-based.
