Emotional Touchpoints
Emotional touchpoints are a powerful way of helping people share their experiences to focus on what matters to them.
Aims of this session
- To develop confidence to share our personal experiences of health and social care
- Increase understanding of how our personal experiences of health and social care services can lead to improving those services.
What we do
Using the emotional touchpoints tool, we ask all participants to consider their most recent experience of health and social care services.
Emotional touchpoints can help us to find the word and emotion that accurately describes our experience, where otherwise we may struggle to express ourselves. They can also provide us with agency to speak, ensuring that all participants feel comfortable to share in a safe space.
This tool begins the journey through a Voices Scotland workshop and how we can use our personal experiences constructively to help improve services.
